Below is a listing of how earnings are calculated for each sport. You can calculate a player or team’s earnings by multiplying the following values by the relevant statistics and adding them all together.
Keep in mind that for team earnings, all players accrue earnings for the team, regardless of whether the player is individually IPO’d or not.
Hitters accrue earnings in each game by the following values:
Hitters are defined as position players or designated hitters – they do not earn $ for pitching in the event they were used in a game as a pitcher.
Pitchers accrue earnings in each game by the following values:
Blown Save :
Pitchers do not earn $ for hitting, since not all pitchers are allowed to hit.
Total Bases :
In addition, teams can earn the following postseason bonuses:
$5 for making the playoffs
$5 for winning the division
$10 for winning the Division Series
$20 for winning the League Championship
$30 for winning the World Series
